Flower Pairs game review

Memory is a skill we all use every day and the stronger the better.

There are several different types of memory: "Working memory" processes information over a span of about 15 seconds, "short-term memory" retains information for up to about 60 seconds and "long-term memory" stores information indefinitely. Memory games make it easy for kids to improve their short-term memory and speed recognition skills.

These games are also known as also known as Concentration, Memory, Pelmanism, Shinkei-suijaku, Pexeso or simply Pairs. Flower pairs are a cognitive and enjoyable memory game for kids and those how love flowers.

The goal is with least as possible moves to find all pairs of identical cards with pictures of flowers. Found pairs disappear from screen. Over the course of the game, it becomes known where certain cards are located, and so upon turning up one card players with good memory will be able to remember where they have already seen its pair.

It is common for many players to think they know where pairs are and to turn over the one they are sure of first, then be stumped finding its mate. A better strategy is to turn over a less certain card first, so that if wrong, one knows not to bother turning a more certain card over.

The main advantage of Flower pairs game is that it not only trains player’s memory but also makes one’s acquainted with flower names and their appearance. Each card has a flower picture and its name, so kid studies flower names during game process.

When paired cards disappear from screen the part of some wonderful background nature photo becomes visible. The last opened card is shown in right bottom corner of screen. Kid can tap it to see detailed information on flower in web.

Flower pairs game contains 20 flower cards but only random 9 of them play in each round of game. So each round is unique someway as playing cards always differ. Each flower card has a common flower name on it.

Every species of flower has its own particular botanic name that is received when it is first discovered. However, over the years many flower varieties have been granted more common names based on regional, cultural and historical influences.

This game use common names of following flowers: dandelion, gladiolus, dahlia, mimosa, dianthus, campanula, daises, cornflower, chamomile, lilac, chrysanthemum, lily, rose, violets, pansy, narcissus, eglantine rose, poppy, iris, lily of the valley.

Another significant benefit of Flower pair’s game is beautiful animations and graphics that look great on tablets and android devices with large screens. Each flower card contains hand-drawn image of flower.

The process of card opening and closing is animated as well as successful finding of a pair. In game menu section you can start new game, read short help and disable ads. Flower pairs game use no in-game timers or limitations on number of moves in game process, so every kid can finish game in time and amount of moves he can achieve.
