World of Goo game review

If any game was designed to be played on a touch-screen it’s World of Goo. It’s so simple to drag the little blobs and balls of goo around the screen to form structures like towers, tunnels and bridges that you don’t even need to think about it.

There are lots of levels in World of Goo that present players with challenges. They have to use the different colours of goo balls and their differing properties - some flammable, some bouncy, some floaty - to solve puzzles.

Epic Astro Story game review

In Epic Astro Story, you attempt to colonize a planet. The new stuff comes in the form of away missions, which are totally hilarious and buff up the gameplay in a way I really enjoyed.

As a solid Trek nerd, I was extremely amused to discover my first residents were "James Turk" and "Jean Vicard." Later you'll be joined by Wes Smasher (which cracks me up every single time he says something), Bones Mc Gee, and many more great riffs on the classic Star Trek universe.

Driftkhana Freestyle Drift App game review

Driftkhana is a freestyle car driving game where players can drift around turns and do different stunts in dynamic fashion.

The name “Driftkhana” is based off of the real-life driving event called gymkhana, where drivers use rally cars to do impressive stunts and routines as part of a competition.

ConnectiXX FREE game review

ConnectiXX is a fun and challenging puzzle game for Android devices that will keep you busy for hours.

With a fun and minimalistic graphical style, the game invites you in from the moment that you start it up on your mobile phone or other Android device.

Extreme Skater game review

Extreme skater is a snowboarding game and has been made by the same creators as another snowboarding game by the name of iStunt 2. If you have played iStunt2 then you will find a lot of similarities between these two games.

When you go on holiday to laze around reading a book, well think of Extreme Skater as the gaming substitute. Whilst the game is not too complex it is very fascinating and contains plenty of challenges which will keep hold of your attention.

Asphalt 6 game review

In 2009 Gameloft released Brothers in arms on iPhone. It was a nice attempt at early mobile FPS gaming but it suffered from control issues. Now, just over a year later, the sequel Global Front has been released.

You play as David Wilson, a young american soldier during the world war II, who finds out his brother has been killed in action. Controls have been vastly improved over original title.

Dungeon Hunter 3 game review

Dungeon Hunter 3 is, as the title clearly states, the third installment in the Dungeon Hunter franchise. They have however done something slightly different in this game.

In the first two games you actually had to adventure through dungeons with the goal of collecting experience points and loot in the hopes of leveling up and advancing.

New York Slot Machine HD game review

New York Slot Machine is a fun and addictive video slot game for your Android device.

This game takes you away from your current environment and transports you into a glamorous world where large prizes are waiting to be won. At its core, New York Slot is a simple game, but it is very polished and fun to look at, listen to, and play.

Order and Chaos Online game review

Order and Chaos Online is a third person MMO action RPG, automatically people are going to compare it to World of Warcraft and it is very similar, there is a basic fantasy type world and yes, there are other similarities as well.

It is kind of an auto combat mixture of turn-based and action, so your character will automatically start attacking someone who is attacking your character, but at the same time, you provide action based inputs.

Role in the Hole game review

Role in the Hole is a very simplistic game, yet it proves to be a ton of fun, and a game that you will continuously go back to when you’re looking for something to do.

The goal of the game is to help the cute panda PoPo in his quest to find the popsicles that were taken from him and dispersed over a number of magical worlds by the evil gorilla called Uggi.

Drisk game review

Drisk is played almost exactly like the board game, where each player picks a colour and has his/her initial territory, which they must expand by attacking and seizing fellow players’ land, until one player rules all!

The game looks and feels very retro, which is great for the nostalgic types, and features such as sliding controls and the overall design of this app successfully brings this family favourite into the 21st century.

Solipskier game review

Solipskier is a fast paced skiing game where you draw the slopes to pick up speed and do jumps. Paint your own cliffs, do tricks and slalom through gates to get huge scores. I am a huge fan of indie games.

One such game that caught my attention quickly was Solipskier. This app seemed first to be a simple game but not much more than some tracing, but it quickly turned into a challenging app that kept me coming for more.

Age of Wind 2 game review

Many children often dream of being a pirate and it is a fantasy that as an adult we would still love to happen. The game somehow seems to make it appealing to be a crazy 17th Century criminal, and makes the job seem some what alluring.

The fact that this decision to be a criminal may lead to an untimely death at the gallows along with the decaying looks of a toothless monster whilst catching a nasty illness is soon forgotten.

Spy Mouse game review

Spy Mouse is a new game from Firemint Games, the same developer that made Flight Control. It uses the same control scheme, but you’re in a much more charming world.

As Spy Mouse, you’re the rodent version of James Bond. Your mission is cheese – and more cheese. And then some more cheese. To control your mouse, you draw out a path from him which he follows.

Frisbee Forever game review

There are some games and game types that are perfectly built for the type of platform that they are predominant on, when building for a specific platform it gives the designers the opportunity to use all the functionality available to that specific platform, not limiting it to be functional on all the platforms available.

If there has ever been a game built for the IOS platform its Frisbee Forever, there are a hundred different levels spread over ten different environments to keep you playing for quite some time.
