Pilo3An Interactive Children's Story Book-3D Animation-Cooking Game screenshots
Pilo, a children's book character who is loved around the world are a soft and cuddly pillow doll who leads your children on an interactive adventure with each reading. Pilo3 is the next chapter in the popular Pilo series of apps and teaches your children fun things about cooking.
Let's review how this app put together and if it is a good choice for your children. When you first start the app, it looks more like a game than an educational app, but it is more than just a game, it is fun for your little ones while teaching them new things.
When you first open the storybook, you are presented with a happy looking screen, with several choices to start your journey. The first interactive experience, allows your children to dress Pilo in different clothes, such as shirts, hats and socks.
Children can mix and match the clothing to make Pilo look just the way they want. There are several characters in the book, there is Pilo the Fairy, and then Tommy (a boy) or Sunny (a girl) and a sidekick piglet doll.
Children are able to choose whether they want to play as Tommy or Sunny. The storybook is also presented in several different languages: English (the default), Korean and Japanese. The game features an extensive audio track, which help to guide your children through the storybook and provide audio cues to keep the storybook entertaining and interactive.
There are seven different sections of the storybook that children can explore, each one having a different storyline and adventure setting that your children can explore. Each individual adventure setting has small puzzles that can be solved by doing such things as matching the correct shapes in a shape matching puzzle.
To make things easier for the young ones, visual and clues are provided. There is even a game mode that allows children to slice fruit and other food items, and as they are slicing with their finger each food item name is read out loud to the child, helping them to learn basic food names.
Another fun game is the pancake griddle, which allows children to cook little pancakes where the objective is to cook seven pancakes, with just the right amount of cooking, so the pancakes do not get burnt.
These are games and learning adventures for children, and they are not intended for adults, but using the app with my own children, I found it to be an enjoyable experience, and a lovely way to spend time with my child.
If you are looking for a fun app for your child to use as a learning tool, then this is a great one because it is not so obvious that it is a learning tool, thanks to the games which are built-in. This is a fantastic game for children ages six and under.
The game is easy to use and has the added benefit that your children can learn words and phrases in other languages. I recommend this game, the cost is low, and the benefit to your children is immense.
