TV Quiz game review

Oh yeah, now we are talking.

Knight Rider, Starsky and Hutch, Hawaii-5-0 and even the Brady Bunch. Other than these being classic TV shows from the past, what do they all have in common? They might be the subject of your next TV Quiz, a new app available for the Apple iPhone on the iTunes Store. Now, I have to admit, I am somewhat of a sucker for anything that takes me back to the past.

Playing this free game from the iTunes Store keeps me coming back for more.

Let's take a look at some of the features of this terrifically entertaining game that requires you to correctly pick the TV show titles from the past. The game lets you start off with instruction that to win, you must "Name the TV show title for each question" Ok, now you know the rules.

You are presented questions in one of several categories, Quotes, Characters, Scenes and DVD Covers. The faster you answer a question, the more points you will receive in the game, and you will also receive extra hints to use while playing.

The target, the best you can do is to give the correct TV title within 5 seconds. If you do this, you will win the maximum number of points. To make things entertaining, the app makers have added a distinctive bonus round that allows you to answer five multiple choice questions.

The higher amount of correct answers you get have, the more bonus spins you get on the quiz wheel, thus giving you more prizes and awards to use within the game. Each level has 26 questions, and you need to answer these questions in order to advance to the next level.

All of your current progress can be saved to the game leaderboard and shared with other users. Additional perks included to the game are game thermometers, which while playing, allows you to see how close you are to the correct answer, in case you have a moment of brain dehydration and need a sanity check.

If you have any problems answering the questions, in case you truly need help, then you can always use the hints provided in the game. The game is also quite social. You can share your gameplay on Facebook and Twitter and allows you to increase the number of question thermometers or hints, just by sharing on Social Media.

The app itself is free on the iTunes store, but you can also choose to purchase additional game hints, thermometers, answers to questions, and of course, the ability to remove the ads from the game. There is much to this game that cannot be so concisely put to a single review, but what I have seen in this game impresses me very much.

For a game played on the iPhone, it is extremely well made and devilishly fun to play. I highly recommend this game if you are TV show buff, it will make for hours of fun.
