Surfing Girl game review

Aaah, summertime.

Summer is the best season of the year, if you ask me. It’s nothing but long holidays at the beach, lounging on deck chairs and soaking up the rays. It’s bikinis, beach parties, luaus, foreign countries, tans and, OK, even the odd sunburn. But even that is worth the trouble, as long as you enjoy your summer to the fullest. One of the best ways to enjoy the summertime is by learning how to surf.

Gunman Clive game review

This game is typical in style of already popular and well known platform gamers. The graphics are very striking and have a certain resemblance to some games dating back four years ago.

Now having transferred over to iOS format, this game with its limited features is ideal for the scene it is set in, that of the American Wild West.  The content is quite simple and straight forward and the gadgets within the game are not overdone.

Roboto

Roboto game review

In Roboto you will become one with a hover boarding robot, who is desperately chasing his robot-crush across the expansive galaxy, all in a last ditch effort to win her affection. This game’s strengths are definitely its visuals and the gameplay style that they have implemented here.

One could describe it as a cross between the traditional platformer style, and an endless game of running. In the game there are two main ways to disable and destroy any enemy that find themselves in your path, the first, in traditional platformer style, is to simply bop them in the end.

Squids

squids game review

Squids is a great game with a lot of visual appeal and intricate design that makes it stand out from the other App Store offerings of similar prices.

The game is based on a team of squids who are tasked with saving the oceans from the evil ooze that’s polluting and infecting all life in them. Each new level starts with a brief set of stills with dialogue that explains where you’re at in your mission.

Order and Chaos Online game review

Order and Chaos Online is a third person MMO action RPG, automatically people are going to compare it to World of Warcraft and it is very similar, there is a basic fantasy type world and yes, there are other similarities as well.

It is kind of an auto combat mixture of turn-based and action, so your character will automatically start attacking someone who is attacking your character, but at the same time, you provide action based inputs.

Dungeon Hunter 3 game review

Dungeon Hunter 3 is, as the title clearly states, the third installment in the Dungeon Hunter franchise. They have however done something slightly different in this game.

In the first two games you actually had to adventure through dungeons with the goal of collecting experience points and loot in the hopes of leveling up and advancing.

Stay Alive game review

Stay Alive is an insanely addictive game from Drummer Games. Designed for thrill-seekers, it offers players the role of a pilot in a super high tech space fighter.  It’s the cosmic version of Canabalt – an infinite race that goes on and on, chasing an ever higher score.

You hurtle through asteroid belts and enemy territories at dizzying speeds, and you’ll need lightning reflexes to survive for any length of time. The main mode of the game is quite literally infinite, urging you on to ever greater distances and scores.

Samurai II Vengeance game review

Way of the Warrior has finally arrived on iPhone and iPad! While the original got rave reviews for its stylized manga graphics and quick, bloody gameplay, Samurai II delivers even more action and an intuitive new control scheme.

Unlike the first Samurai title, this game implements the touch and swipe controls are actually substituted with a way more common virtual joystick and action button system and gamers can mix quick and tough strikes to repeat the ferocious combos.

Sonic 4 Episode II game review

Sonic has returned in order to complete his adventure that began way back in 2010. This time however he has brought a friend which you may well remember. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II continues on from episode I.

If you have played the first game, episode I, then episode II will be recognisable to you. Within the game there are four different worlds in which you have to adventure through, with each having three levels each.

Run Like Hell game review

In this endless running game you’re an explorer who, rather foolishly, has stolen some priceless artifacts from a tribe of hungry cannibals, and you need to get off their island pronto.

If they catch you, they won’t give you a slap on the wrist, they’ll slap you onto their grill! You start off running, and you have to leap over natural and man-made obstacles to escape.
